About us

Hi! To start I will say I'm not very good at these and have no idea what I'm supposed to say but apparently it gives our little business that informal vibe we're hoping for.

So where did the idea come from? Myself and Reece have always had a passion for food, I'm more the sweet side of things and Reece has always done savoury, initially our plan was to save for a food truck and Reece was going to be the star chef of that but with a food truck comes a huge initial cost which wasn't viable for us but it is something we'd still like to work towards. After realising the food truck wasn't going to be an imminent option the star chef suddenly became me and we decided to start with the sweet side of things rather than savoury.
We needed something we could juggle around our home life, things are hectic at home in-between raising 2 SEN children and managing my own chronic illness we found we were losing our spark, we needed something to put our passion into and then was born the idea of Subscranners. Its been a slow process, ideas have changed a lot as time has gone on and this has been in the works for a long time now so its quite scary to finally be at the stage where we are ready to share our creations with you all.
From brownies, blondies, cookies to those old school treats you remember from school Subscranners has your cravings covered. We take pride in every item we bake for you and every order placed really is an achievement for us. Things will change as the business (hopefully) grows, we plan to extend our range to include gluten free and vegan (I'm still trialling vegan recipes), we aim to offer a wider range of items and increase our product availability but slow and steady wins the race.
Thank you all for reading and for your support, it means the world to us as a family.
